Anthropoid is the code name of an operation aiming to assassinate Reinhard Heydrich, nicknamed Prague's butcher. Number three of the German Nazi regime, key figure of Hitler's rise he was the main architect of the "final solution".

The action takes place in Prague where two expatriated Czechoslovakian soldiers are parachuted in the capital. They seek help of the local resistance network. Lacking of resources and evolving in a city locked down by the regime the operation will not be easy to carry out.
