The world's tallest skyscraper in San Francisco has just been completed and is looking forward to a grand opening gala. It could have been all in the spotlight if the builder hadn't cheated the security and, above all, the electrical systems. Both the building's chief architect and the fire department are struggling with a disaster of immeasurable consequences.

Film locations

The Hyatt Regency skyscraper in San Francisco was used for the exteriors of the filming, but it was elevated in effect. A roughly 30m replica was built for shots of the burning building.
