Chilling movie star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double (Brad Pitt) are getting by as best they can. Rick has to live in Beverly Hills because that's where the biggest movie stars live, while Brad lives with his dog in... well, just lives. Things get complicated by the fact that famous director Polanski and his beautiful wife Sharon Tate move into the neighborhood, and that it just so happens to be 1969.

In his ninth film, cult director Quentin Tarantino reminisces about the beautiful 1960s Hollywood, but it was cut short by an incredible event. Tarantino has drawn from real history with a grace all his own: in a way that pays tribute to Sharon Tate in a way that is both entertaining and dignified.
