In the 80s became Jean-Michel Basquiat almost overnight famous for his graffiti in New York. An odinary boy started to be in touch with the high society, and collaborated with Andy Warhol. He was shocked by the death of Warhol which supported his increasing depression and paranoia, caused by mixing combination of heroin and cocaine. The film maps his short and finally lonely life.
