Ann has left her husband, taken the money to buy an expensive car and went on a journey across the US with their two sons to find a new man. On a journey she meets a lot of suitors. But one is an indepted, another soldier not just in a professional life or a mental ill... Ann stubbornly defends the option of returning to her husband but also do not want to get rid of her social standards. Movie takes place in 50's in US and in a funny way describes partnerships in this time.
