In the beginning, there was an opportunity... and then came betrayal. Twenty years passed. Much has changed, but much has remained the same. Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) returns to the only place he's ever called home. Waiting for him are Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller) and Begbie (Robert Carlyle).
