The Earl Geodefroy de Montmirail and his squire Jacquouille la fripouille are two characters from the medieval time, who have been traveling through time during the previous movies. This time they end up in France during the French revolution. In those troubled times of political and social instability, the descendent of Jacquouille, passionate revolutionaries strip the Montmirail family from its castle and all its belongings, while the descendant of Godefroy, arrogant nobles fled away.
