The entire town was built and filmed in Barrandov studio, Prague, Czech Republic.
In 2004, you would probably have searched in vain for a place in the world that, despite the interventions of film architects, would have been so reminiscent of the time in which Oliver Twist lived. No wonder, therefore, that it was entirely built, namely in Barrandov. The architects and builders have shown truly amazing skill! But unfortunately for us, as we would love to visit these places - and we can't.
