Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg creates the social networking site that would become known as Facebook, but is later sued by two brothers who claimed he stole their idea, and the cofounder who was later squeezed out of the business.
The Social Network is the true life story of Harvard Undergrad and computer genius Mark Zuckerberg, and is more than just the creation of the Social Networking Website "Facebook". In the movie, it chronicles Zuckerberg's start in college in creating an app for Twins who want to capitalize off of Zuckerberg's intelligence, but instead, he turns the tables on them and creates a separate app that develops into Facebook, earning him fame, wealth, and investors. This leads to complications and several lawsuits, one from the Winklevoss twins who claim he stole their idea, and from a former friend who's set on suing Zuckerberg for his fair share of the wealth.
