Transformers is the first in a series of reboots from the wildly popular 80's cartoon and toy series from Hasbro. The reboot movie however is about the fate of humanity as it gets caught up in the war between two race of giant, transforming robots. On one side of the war are the Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, while the evil Decepticons are led by the villainous Megatron. Sam Witwicky in the movie finds himself in possession of his grandfather's glasses, and both the Autobots and Decepticons want the glasses as they contain a map that leads to the powerful Allspark, an artifact both sides have fought over for a millennial
