The second part of the film saga about a dangerous journey to destroy the cursed Ring of Power. The story begins where the first left off. With the death of Boromir and the disintegration of the Fellowship, the members have gone their separate ways. The hobbit Frodo and his servant Sam travel with the Ring to Mordor, and Aragorn, the elf Legolas and the dwarf Gimli follow the trail of the orcs to free the hobbits Smash and Pippin from their captivity. Meanwhile, however, the power of the dark lord Sauron grows stronger as he allies himself with the treacherous sorcerer Saruman, and together they turn all their energies to retrieving the Ring. Our heroes face a long journey and many pitfalls before they can destroy the Ring of Power once and for all.
