Terminator 2: Judgement Day is the sequel to "The Terminator" and takes place roughly 14 years after the first film. The deadly T-1000 comes back in time, intent on killing John Connor directly since the first terminators mission failed, and to prevent the human resistance from forming. However the T-800 arrives into the past as well, and instead of being sent to kill John Connor as well, he was sent back to protect him. Saving sarah Connor from a mental health facility, all three must escape from the T-1000 as it hunts them down, while at the same time coming up with a plan to destroy Skynet at it's source, and prevent Judgement Day from happening.
