Dreams of five young boys about musician future are broken by the call-up of the duty.

Gérard, Gérard, Phil, Jean-Guy, Jean and Luis dream about creating their own pop music band "The tourist's", but they encounter a few obstacles. First after building their own house in a field they go in shop to purchase instrument, but it turns out they cannot afford them. But worst, they receive their notification for military service. At the casern they will meet sergeant Bellec, an old school and authoritarian soldier. But our five peace and love heroes will give him a pretty hard time...
