In the first movie Jennifer Morgan, young MBA, searching for a position at Oliver Caldwell's company is mistakenly hired as au pair. Throughout the film she establishes good bounds with Oliver's children, unlike Vivian Berger, Oliver's new partner who turns out to be a despicable plotting woman. After ditching Vivian Olivers falls for Jennifer.

In Au pair II, Oliver's company is about to merge with another firm named Tek Hausen. But the founder of the company has two adult children, fiercely opposed to the merger and hatching a plan to damage Oliver's reputation in order to take control of both companies.
