Goro comes from the tunnel Hiura, direction from Hakodate.
Tunnel Hiura consists of seven small tunnels on a rocky seashore. It was opened in 1928 and making way from Hakodate to Cape Hiura, where is a lighthouse. In 1973 there was built new highway tunnel and the old one ceased to be maintained. It dilapidated and in particular due to the earthquake gradually became impassable - it is visible in the shots in the serie. In 1997 the tunnel was finally closed. Today, unfortunately, it mostly just poorly accessible ruins.
